The Alumni In Mission Service (AIMS) Symposium occurs directly after the church service. Attendees are welcome to bring their Homecoming Haystack lunch to enjoy during the meeting. An update about church-sponsored mission projects will be provided by a representative from the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, volunteer medical mission opportunities will be presented, and the Alumni in Mission Service Awards given.

Hosted by the Alumni Association, Holding Fund, Loma Linda University, and the Walter E. Macpherson Society (WEMS), this meeting provided an opportunity for attendees to learn more about the current activities and future plans of these organizations.
Join the Medical Auxiliary Luncheon where they will be celebrating Lives of Ultimate Service. Registration begins at 11:00AM followed by the 11:30AM luncheon and devotional by Dr. Marilynn Loveless. 1:30PM will feature “Damien,” a dramatic presentation by Dr. Kenneth Wright.
One of the weekend’s highlights is the APC Gala, where the Alumni Association will recognize its honored alumni and the Alumnus of the Year. Entertainment for the evening will include medical student musical talent and stories.

This year our focus will be on Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery. Our presenters will help you improve patient outcomes, patient safety, and identify strategies for the prevention and management of complications in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery procedures using state-of-the art clinical knowledge and new practice management strategies and tools.
Our event will focus on global surgery. We will look at the importance of global surgery and learn the unique nature of practicing in a mission hospital.
